1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Swift Payrolls, you agree to these terms and to the product policies published on the site.
2. Service Description
Swift Payrolls is a payroll and document-generation tool for South African households and growing businesses. It helps create payslips, invoices, payroll records, and related reports, but it is not a licensed payroll administrator, payroll processor, legal adviser, tax adviser, or accounting firm.
3. No Payroll Administration or Payment Agency
Swift Payrolls does not employ your workers, pay wages, move payroll funds, submit EMP201 or EMP501 returns, issue official IRP5/IT3(a) certificates, remit PAYE, UIF, SDL, or other taxes, register you with SARS or the UIF authorities, or communicate with regulators on your behalf. You remain responsible for payroll decisions, filings, remittances, and compliance with South African requirements.
5. Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed monthly in ZAR through Paystack. Subscription charges continue until cancellation, and Swift Payrolls does not store full card details directly.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the paid billing period already covered. Refunds may be considered for billing errors or qualifying service failures.
7. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for accurate payroll inputs, employee classification, pay-period settings, credential security, and verifying outputs before relying on them operationally. You must review any payslip, invoice, or report before sending it to an employee, client, SARS, UIF authorities, or any other party.
8. Regional Payroll Compliance
For South African users, payroll obligations may include PAYE, UIF, SDL, ETI, employee tax certificates, employer reconciliations, and employment-law recordkeeping. Swift Payrolls may calculate or display payroll estimates, but you must confirm the rules that apply to your employer profile, employees, and payroll period.
9. Data Accuracy and Liability
We aim for accurate calculations and current payroll rules, but final responsibility for submitted payroll figures, filings, payments, employee communications, and legal compliance remains with the employer or account owner.
10. POPIA and Data Protection
Personal and payroll data is protected with modern security controls. We do not sell customer data, but we rely on service providers such as Cloudflare and Paystack to deliver hosting, storage, security, and payments. South African privacy handling is described further in the Privacy Policy.
11. Service Availability
We target reliable service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and temporary outages may occur.
12. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use after published updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, abuse, non-payment, or violations that threaten the product or other users.
14. Contact Information
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@swiftpayrolls.com. Billing disputes may be sent to disputes@swiftpayrolls.com.
